| Fried Green Tomatoes |
| 4 medium green tomatoes 1 tsp. salt 1/2 c. flour 2 tbsp. vegetable oil Wash and slice green tomatoes 1/2 inch thich. Sprinkle with salt, roll each slice in flour coating both sides. Place oil in skillet and heat, place floured tomatoe slices in skillet and fry over low heat until browned on both sides. Serve hot Serves 4 |
