Apple Cake

Ingredients 1c. oil                                             2c. sugar                                        2 eggs, well beaten  1 tsp. baking soda 1tsp. salt 2 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. vanilla 3 c. chopped pared apples 1 c. chopped nuts (optional) Cream together oil, sugar, and eggs. Sift together baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and flour. Add to creamed mixture. Stir in vanilla. Add apples and nuts. Pour into 9 X 13 pan and bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
