My previous cars...
TR 4A... never got the panels right... the car was sold to a member of the TR club. The Gamma behind makes it clear this picture wasn't taken yesterday! The Gamma was the car in which my mother tought me to drive. We never had any problem with it and it was a marvelous car!
The FIAT 600 was another story. It stayed in the garage for years when suddenly it had caught my interest! I've made a lot of modifications on this one but Abarth fake is expensive and in the end it's still a FIAT. The car next to it is the Flavia Zagato... it's the Flavia who's responsible for infecting me with the Lancia bug!
My first "home made" finished restoration! I've dismantled every part and rebuilt it the best I could. This Flavia came as a donor car for the Zagato... but it was too nice to strip... In the end it had new brakes, ss exhaust, new Michelin X tires, shocks... even the interior was perefect until it stayed in the sun for too long... I know these dashboards are available again which is a good thing as the foam dries out and falls out the floor... It drove superbly!
The GAMMA... I was really bewitched by this smart coup, but it turned out the front dent wasn't so harmless as it looked like. I swapped it for a... Porsche 550 RSK replica... and sold it too.
At first I found it really ugly... the the fact it was made by Zagato made it look nicer... then the front end looked great... and the rear maybe.... any way you put it, it will always be a discussion as to know if it's ugly or not, or wether it's a design that is not accessible for the lesser mortals! I've ended up with 3 Flavia Sports! A white one which was dismantled, the project car and a blue one.

One ended up by Paul Brancart in the Netherlands and must be finished by now. See the picture below.
