Looking through the "Italian Spare Parts" stands at the Antwerpse Oldtimersbeurs, a scruffy looking Nardi steering wheel caught my eye. A closer look and according to the seller, it looked undamaged and it was still packed in wrinkle paper secured by a Nardi marked tape! The double push button was right too and a label mentionned "Lancia Flaminia Berlina"... how was I supposed to leave it there! I removed the previous Nardi wheel (which has the same diameter but I had to have the boss adapted) and fitted this one... it's really a perfect fit, and the idea of "never used before" is very pleasant! The "home made self adhesive label" in the door is quite practical as it mentions all one needs to know for a regular maintenance! A nice touch offered by the twin push button hornpiece is the black ring activates the airhorns while the center button with the Lancia logo flashes the high beams!
