Eugenio Castellotti, died too soon to become World Champion. He was unbeattable in events such as the Mille
Miglia's and loved Lancia's, especially the  Aurelia B20
Hergé, the man behind the famous little reporter Tintin, had a Lancia Aurelia as a personal car. No doubt the sporty career of the B20 influenced him quite profoundly! The Aprilia is taken from the album "L'Or Noir" and the Aurelia from "L'Affaire Tournesol". In "Challenge Me The Race" Mike Hawthorn writes about his love for the Aprilia!
Loved by all kinds of artists and writers,  the Lancia often had a special place in their lifes. Peter Gabriel used a Flavia Coupé to cover his album, and Remarque, author of "All quiet on the Western Front" was wildly enthusiast about his Dilambda. These two pictures were taken at Porto Ronco in Italy. Often invited there, his friend Ernest Hemingway had a Flaminia Sedan and later a Flaminia Convertible...
