The Porsche 928. What a great car. I decided on an earlier model because it was a 5 speed. Most of the 928's you'll find out there are automatics. This car and it's design are timeless a True Classic. Lately you can see the shape of the 928 mirrored when you look at many cars out there to day such as the mecedes SLR or the new Chryler Crossfire any old RX& mazda etc. The Porshe engineers designed a Porsche far ahead of it's time. Production years were from 1978 to 1995. The offical launch was 1977 although full production started in 1978.?The 1980 Porsche 928 has a rated 220 hp V8 engine. The engine is easy to work on for most maintaince issues.To look at the vehicle in person is to feel the seduction of the Porsche as it Talks to you.
