At Zilker Botanical Gardens in Austin during Spring Break 2002. One of the two times we saw each other that semester.

We also took a trip down to San Antonio that Spring Break. This is near the Riverwalk.

In front of a fountain at the Texas State Capitol on the Saturday after Spring Break. This was right after Jamon realized his flight back to Colorado wasn't on Saturday, it was on Sunday. Hooray! :) Jamon is also proudly sporting his brand-new jacket. Good thing it was chilly enough to wear a jacket. Or was it...?
I went to visit Jamon during E-days at the School of Mines last April (the second time we saw each other that semester). E-days are when the tired, cynical Mines students get a break from all the work and have fun for a few days. There was a great fireworks show and all sorts of other fantastic festivities. The long weekend ended sadly, however, when I missed my 10am flight because I forgot about the start of daylights savings time. I had to wait for the 6pm flight, which meant I had to spend the entire day at the airport. Jamon had already gone home after dropping me off at the airport, and I called him to tell him the awful news. Ten minutes after I hung up the phone with him, I hear on the airport intercom, "Jean Jie, please pick up a white courtesy phone." I excitely did so, and it turned out Jamon wanted to tell me that he's coming to keep me company for the day. Not only that, he managed to find a book for the class in which I had a test the next day (another reason I was in such despair - I couldn't get home to study!). Here's a photo of him studying with me at the airport. Isn't he the sweetest?
