This is a fun and interesting hobby that we have just started getting into. There are so many different things around that you never pay attention to and this makes you take notice of them.
The only requirements you need for this are a GPS and time.
You enter coordinates you get from the website into your GPS and off you go....on the hunt for the cache. Some locations are harder than others, some are really easy.
The cache can contain almost anything. Sometimes it has Money, toys, jewels, or sometimes it gets stolen (which you report to the website and they will check it out). It is like a giant treasure hunt no matter where you live.
There are also Travel Bugs. These are items that have a dog tag with a number on them which you take from a cache and place in another cache to help it on it's way to it's destination. The destination may be specific or it could be that it just wants to travel around the world. You will find that out when you enter the number into your computer. It's amazing to see where it has been and where it wants to go.
