I had said on Hollie's page that she and her Mum, stepfather and half brother and sister were moving down to Somerset Her dad decided it would be a nice thing if we could all go out for a meal together before she left, so on Wednesday 13th of Decemeber that is what we did. Unfortunately Frances and Allan and Jack and Hannah could not be there but I can assure you Fran was there in spirit and text phone messages to everyones mobile phone. She decided she was "little orphan Annie" or "Oliver Twist". She even went so far as to phone the restaurant and leave a message for Hollie saying she would have loved to have come but Brian had not invited her. This was of course all in fun as she knew it would have been impossible for her to have come for just one evening all the way from Devon. It did make us all feel that she was there anyway with about six mobile phones all going beep beep.
We had a good evening and had some laughs. Daniel actually took his baseball cap off and Kevin managed to hang on to him for me to take a picture (he doesnt know yet he got caught twice) Jamie and Harry went in the play area and ate all their dinner(thats a miracle) Hollie was her usual well behaved self and I think she enjoyed it. We are all going to miss her as she has been part of all our everyday lives for 13 years, but she knows that she is welcome to come and stay with anyone of us dring school holidays and such.
