When in 1967 we moved to Slade Green we met again as neighbours and we have been friends ever since.We have a lot in common, at the time we met again she had four children and I was expecting my fourth, she then went on to have two more and myself one more. Only difference being I have two girls and three boys, she has six boys. We helped each other a lot in those days as neither of us were well off and we used to pool our rescources. She was then married to "Bunger Rea" and after we left and moved to Orpington she divorced him and she got in contact to say she was with Bill. They have now been married 25 years. We already knew him from Slade Green.
Over the years we have lost touch a few times but have always found one another again. We were lucky to get the photo of Eve as every one we took apart from this one either did not come out or looked weird. I told her she must be a witch or something. Both she and Bill are not in very good health at the moment. She is disabled with a crumbling spine and Bill has mental health problems. We visit one another on a regular basis although probably not as much in the winter months although they do only live 70 miles away. We keep in touch by phone on a regular basis.
