Early in 2000 we went to Euro Disney with June, Nigel and the boys and Tim and Lisa. We had wanted to go to Florida the first time June and Nigel went but the doctors would not let Brian fly. So Euro was the next best thing. The weather was lousy, wet and cold but the 3 days we spent there was lovely. Unfortunately at that time I was in the process of changing my medication and I ended up in a wheelchair like Brian. The family did not mind because if you are disabled you and your family can get on the rides first. Daniel opted to push me and I thank him for making what could have been a very upsetting time into fun. Wheelchair races with whoever was pushing Brian which, I won of course !! The whole time was lovely and even if I never go again I have the memories and the photographs. The atmosphere is so I am told exactly the same as Florida, everyone is very helpful and friendly. The shows are brilliant and there is plenty to do, probably more than you can cover in three days. |
