My research began with information from family Bibles. With the help of internet sources, family members, and other Baker researchers ~ the quest continues. |

| Tidbits of information and speculation: Benjamin Franklin Baker was the youngest child of John M. Baker and Barbara Wagner. John M. Baker is buried in Collins Cemetery, Okeene, Oklahoma (Blaine County.) Two of the family Bibles list my great grandmother's name as Barbara Wagner, a third spells the last name Waggner. There is a Barbara Baker 1865-1901 buried in Collins Cemetery. I know that my grandfather's mother died when he was young. The Barbara Baker buried in Collins Cemetery died in 1901, the year my grandfather was born. |
