1)What is the name of your band?
A Thousand Falling Skies
2) How did it get that name?
After trying to come up with a name for the band for the longest time we
decided to just look at hundreds of other bands song titles and that's
where we found our name it's actually a As The Sun Sets song.
3) How would you describe your music?
We play emotionally driven metal and hardcore to sum it up.
4) Who is in the band and what do they play?
Pedro-Vocals, Dave K.-Guitar, J.P.-Guitar, George-Drums, Dave A.-Bass
5) What is the scene like in your community?
Connecticut is cool, there's punk, ska, and tons of hardcore and metal bands here. Sometimes it's to much though, kids tend to come out and only support the "bigger" bands when they come through we'd like to see some more "smaller" band support that would defiantly make the scene here kick more ass. There's also this fat kid that goes to a bunch of shows that does flips and stuff. You would never think he was able to but then out of the blue he comes screaming across the pit and does one handed flips and stuff like that. weird shit in CT.
6) Who are the bands influences?
J.P.- Poison The Well, Killswitch Engage, Life OF Agony and Devo.
Dave K- Iron Maiden, The Haunted, Cradle Of Filth, The Mammas and Pappas
George- Billy Joel, Emanuel 7, Summer So Far and Avenger of Awry
Pedro- Red Roses For A Blue Lady, Lynard Skynard, Thursday, Cradle Of Filth
8) How many groupies does the band have?
Hahahaha groupies? What are those? If groupies come in the form of big hairy men then we've got a shit load of them.
9) Have any members of the band had problems with heroin?
We might look a little cracked out at times but for the most part no haha. Dave K- I used to have a problem with shooting drano but now im onto paint thinner
10) How many pills do you take with your alcohol?
J.P.: None but one time i ate 21 birth control pills but don't worry, it was the green ones so i'm ok and i'm not pregnant.
11) What is your favorite drink?
Pedro- Pepsi
J.P.- Orange Juice
Dave K- Mountain Dew
George- Sobe
12) Do you smoke weed?
No we smoke grass and pine needles.
J.P.- when i was younger i used to take those clear blue Q tips and smoke the cotton off of em. I wouldnt suggest anyone doing that though, it's really not all it's cracked up to be haha.
Dave K- I used to carve out an apple to make a bowl and smoke dirt
George- Don't let Dave fool you he smokes pole not dirt!!
13) Do you skateboard?
Some of us used to skateboard but we never got any good so we gave up. and now we're too old and affraid of breaking bones, Dave A. does a little bit of riding if that counts.
J.P.- I hump my pillow in the morning.
Dave K- I just play with parts of my body 10 times a day
14) What do you think of skating these days?
Back in the day skating was kick ass and personally here in our town there was only a small group of kids that did it. but like what happens in most towns the cops slowly started banning us from skating at certain spots. eventually you'd get arrested for skating and also everyone got older had to get full time jobs and for the most part quit skating. I'm seeing alot of younger kids here in town starting to skate so that's always cool. but i think alot of it has to do with the popularity of "extreme sports" and personally we got into it cause it was an almost underground thing, just like alot of the music we were into.
15) How many tours have you been on?
None yet, but we've played a ton of shows in the new england area and have done some weekends away from home but we're planning a 17 day tour this summer so that should defiantly be cool.
16) Have you played with any big acts?
We're not sure what you mean by big but we've played with
Hatebreed,Nora,Blood Has Been Shed,Unearth,Haste,Killswitch
Engage,Overcast,All That Remains,Most Precious Blood, Shai Hulud and ton's of others at this years New England Metal & Hardcore Festival(everyone from Poison The Well to Cannabil Corpse & In Flames)
17) Will you ever sell out?
Some people have different meanings of "Selling Out". If we can keep playing exactly what makes us happy and what we want/enjoy creating and someone say's here's $1,000,000,000 to do it then hell yes we'll do that. but if you mean turning into sum 41 to make money then the answer would be no.

19) Any advice on how to pick up on chicks?
Pedro-Pick up lines are the best.. Chicks dig'em. Like, "If I was a squirrel and you we're a tree, would you let me bust a nut in your hole"?
J.P.- Chicks??????? hahahahahahahahahahaha.
Dave K-I think the best way is just to be nice and say "wanna take it in the ass"
20) Do you like Kid Rock?
Never heard of him. Is he "The Rock's" little kid?
J.P.- hmmm....... didn't he used to be in The Rolling Stones?
Dave K- I used to have to rocks in my room one big one small, I was always fond of the small one
21) Do you have any questions you'd like to ask yourself?
J.P.- How come when i started playing guitar i thought i would be getting alot more chicks than none?
Dave K- Why do you always look in the mirror when fondeling yourself?
22) Are there any up and coming bands you'd like to mention?
Defiantly check out, Light Is The Language,Sheol,Summer.So.Far,Flatlined,Avenger of Awry, Hamartia and Emmanual 7, Zero Nothing, all of these bands rock. Oh yeah and The Sweatpant Boners too!!!!
23) Have you ever been to Cheyenne, WY?
No but hopefully one day when we have money we'll make it out there.
24) Have you ever heard of a band called FELT?
Can't say we have. Have you ever Felt a band called Heard?????
25) How many people usually attend your shows?
1,000,000,000 to about 9,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, you know, give or take a few.
26)What did you think of the magazine?
It's pretty rockin, seeing 2 big overly fat asses on the front page was
defiantly a plus.
27)What song would you like to have played at your funeral?
Pedro-Lynard Skynard "Simple Man" or "Freebird"
J.P.- Aerosmith " Dude looks like a lady "

28)Have you ever been in any fights?
not that we can remember but J.P. tried to get into a fight with Seth from Anal Cunt and didn't succeed.

Can't say they have but that would be a bad thing anyways...hahaha
30)Have any kids been killed at your shows? What is the closest that has
come to happening?
Nobodies ever been killed but one kid got knocked out and then came back in the pit for some more after 5mins. and some other kid had his septem ring ripped out...but that's as close to anybody getting killed at any of our shows so far. One time Pedro shit his pants at a show and that " killed" anyones chances of using the bathroom for the rest of the night. I'm not sure if that counts but it's a damn good story anyways.
