2) ah... well once upon a time this band was called the sXe coke dealers, but we changed the name because we all hated the old one. there is really no story behind the new name, but sXeCd came out of a new years 2001 party at which we were trashed and were thinking of oxymorons to use as a name, and partlows brother came up with it and none of us could stop laughing. later we realized how stupid the name actually was.
3) We play punk rock. Thats it. I cant label our music as "hardcore", or "pop" or anything. Just punk.

and we used to have a drummer named stevo but he quit, now our drummer is Henry and he couldnt do this interview.
5) Our scene is the best. We just played a show in a barn last night and, even though we were opening and the worst band there by far, we still drew a crowd and were cheered on. Very supportive of the music no matter how bad it is,
6) our influences include: Minor Threat, TSOL, Black Flag, The Misfits and The Dead Kennedys

8) Oh yeah. Partlow actually DIED from a heroin overdose a few years back. But as luck would have it he was reincarnated by powers beyond our comprehension and went on to form this band.

13) IT SUCKS! Skateboarding used to be about expressing youself and being supported by your friends no matter what. Now its a sport. A SPORT. theres to much competition and people are only worried about how good you are.

15) A few big local acts. Bands that are really well known maybe in a few states. The Bedrockers, The Marks, Ruin 59.
