Our bands name is Soapbox
> 2) How did it get that name?
We played a cover named "soapbox", written by the band
"blenderhead", we liked the name "soapbox" and decided to
name our band after it...
> 3) How would you describe your music?
On our debut album "a divided man" it's straight forward
hardcore punk. But now we are pushing the sound towards a
bit more melodic, a bit harder, a bit less hysteric sound.

Well, from the early ninties and until maybe -98 the scene
was growing bigger and bigger and soon became one of the
biggest scenes in Europe with bands like Refused, Abhinanda
etc. Today it's not quite up to that, though, we have a
bunch of worldwide known bands like E.T.A, DS-13, (I)NC...

Nope.

None of us drink alcohol.

Here in the snowy north, skateboard is not an option, we go
snowboarding instead. In fact, our guitarplayer Pär, broke
his finger this weekend while he was trying to make a
1080...

It's great, I love watching it...

We have toured over Europe four times and played numerous
times at festivals all over Europe.

Yeah, Shelter, Zoli band, Selfmindead, Blindside, Extol,
Abhindanda, Glorybox, Big Bout Jah...

No.

134 years alltogether, go figure...

No, but once we almost had the police called in because it
was too loud. unfortunately it didnt happen...

No kills. The closest we got was at Freakstock when Simon
by accident threw the microphone 10 metres into the crowd
and almost hit a girl in the head...
