Welcome To Your Life Interview
1)  What is the name of your band?
    Welcome to your life
2) How did it get that name?
I don't really know it definitely has something to do with tears for
fears.  I know that we fought over it for a long time.  But most of us like
it except one member who wont even say the name. He refers to it as "my band."
3) How would you describe your music?
IM thinking like iron maiden meets inflames meets hardcore. we definitely
have some swedish/euro metal influence.
4) Who is in the band and what do they play?
steve sings vijay guitar tommy guitar Aaron drums and itow bass
5) What is the scene like in your community?
Well, we are lucky enough to live in the great orange county and it is
amazing right now.  We have s lot of amazing bands like throwdown and
bleeding through.  We live in the land of sun and surf we cant go wrong with
that. Yeah there's problems but there are problems everywhere. All
considering I think we are doing pretty good. We have no "crew" problems. So
no one ever ruins shows by fighting that often. Not saying that there isn't
fights but nothing bad. You cant be tough in OC. there's no reason to be. And
the kids who think they are tough are joking themselves. what are they going
around beating up little Oct kids. let them go to New York and try that shit.
6) Who are the bands influences?
most of us listen to a lot of Swedish type metal. things like arch enemy
and in flames. a lot of iron maiden. but our drummer is into all kinds of
shit he kinda throws  in some different beats here and there. it breaks up
things alot. he's good for our band.

8) How many groupies does the band have?
We usually have 50 or 60 on hand, and then we keep some on the side for a
back up. I know that sounds like a lot but steve really like's to have a wide
verity. He's a picky bastard.
9) Have any members of the band had problems with heroin?
I don't think so. if you get a chance you should ask Vijay. He  looks
like the junky type.
10) How many pills do you take with your alcohol?
Well that depends on the type of pill. Different pills do different
things.
11) What is your favorite drink?
I'm going with coke. Steve is good ole Dr. pepper. Aaron is a  water
guy. and Vijay drink DIET everything. Asshole.
12) Do you smoke weed?
    NO

13) Do you skateboard?
    We try
14) What do you think of skating these days?
I think it is kinda scary. you'll never get anywhere unless you are so
stupid that you are good. Like 30 stair round hand rails. switch kickflip
backside 5/0 180 out is the best i can pull off. i still don't think that
good enough. those 12 pros scare me. cause they are the future of skating and
they are already burly. imagine them in 10 years. scary.
15) How many tours have you been on?
We havent toured yet. we are working on our first lp and i think are
gonna tour this summer. We have done some weekends here and ther but nothing
long term.
16) Have you played with any big acts?
Bane, Death By stereo and Throwndown. Thats the biggest we got.
17) Will you ever sell out?
Depends on what you mean by selling out. if someone comes up and says i
will give you a million dollars. yes. i would do just about anything for a
sweet mill. and i do mean almost anything.  but as far as music wise. no we
play what we like. and we all love doing it. and we love playing together.
18) How old are you?
All early 20's but all 16 at heart.
19) Any advice on how to pick up on chicks?
Ask Tommy he's the ladies man.
20) Do you like Kid Rock?
    NO...No...NO
21) Do you have any questions you’d like to ask yourself?

22) Are there any up and coming bands you’d like to
mention?
I would like to say that anyone who reads this should pick up the Suicide
File and The Promise. Plus we would like to mention ourselves cause we are
still up and coming. thanks
23) Have you ever been to Cheyenne, WY?
No but i have been right outside of it and broke down.   WY  was the
begining of the funnest worst time of my life. if that makes any sense. I
used to Roadie for Adamantium and we were on tour with death by stereo and
bane. death's vans transmission cracked and for them to get to the next show
they all piled into the adamantium van and drove from there to SF. long tight
drive. I got stuck with the van and two other roadies to fix the van and meet
the in ventura. it took us 4 days and 2000 dollars to get home. We got home
eventually but the van never did.  worst time ever. but me and the other guys
became great friends because of it. so best time ever.
24) Have you ever heard of a band called FELT?
    NO

25) How many people usually attend your shows?
Well we usually play with bigger bands so the shows are usually packed.
but we have done ok latley. we have a small following coming together. i
think we have to wait fot the record to come out until people really start
getting into us.
26) What did you think of the magazine?
its definetly punk lots of mohawks and leather jackets. sweet
27) What song would you like to have played at your funeral?
i hope to not have a funeral i want to go out in a fiery blaze where
there is nothing left of me. but if i do have a funeral i guess. anything off
in flames's clayman would be good. i think my parents would like that.
28) Have you ever been in any fights?
the last fight i got in was stupid. i threw one punch and missed. luckily
the other guy was so drunk he just fell down. so i still looked cool.
29) Have you shows ever caused a riot?
    not yet give us time.
30) Have any kids been killed at your shows? What is the closest that has
come to happening?
to quote our guitar player vijay, "we are more "i love my life metal" not
really the "i want to gut my friend and eat his intestine metal". I dont
think that answers your question though. NO
31)  Famous Last Words? How would you recommend people get a
hold of you?
