Ok, lets get this straight from the get go, I'm the original
drummer for Blood for Blood. Rob, Buddha and myself formed the
band back in 1994. I left the band in late 1999 so this interview
won't contain any new shit so continue on at will.

>2) How did it get that name?
Rob and Buddha came up with the name. The name of the band really
is about taking Revenge on Society for all the shit that life has
dealt us. Take the time and read the lyrics to the songs and
you'll know what BFB is about.

>3) How would you describe your music?
Blood for Blood is, was, and always will be music from the streets
played for the outcasts, outlaws, white trash, cast offs, rejects,
and scumbags of the world. We played punk rock, hardcore, rock-n-
roll of the white trash variety.

>4) Who is in the band and what do they play?
White Trash Rob - Guitar/Vocals
Buddha Vocals
many bass players along the way but the guy who was with the band
the longest is Ian "new guy" McFarland
and myself, Mike "Cap'n" Mahoney

>5) What is the scene like in your community?
>
geez, I don't know, Boston has lots of bands, not many clubs and
too many whiny assholes. Bottom line: check out Reach the Sky,
Dropkick Murphys, The Bruisers(RIP) and of course Wrecking Crew
(RIP) and Slapshot...everything else piss off.
>6) Who are the bands influences?
>
I grew up listening to Black Sabbath, Metallica, Guns-n-Roses and
old Aerosmith. Those bands made me want to play music.
Once, I grew up and became aware of punk rock and hardcore the
bands that really had a influence on my playing style were bands
like Sheer Terror, Type O Negative, Breakdown, The Bruisers,
Killing Time, AF, old Biohazard and Madball.

Listen, guys like us, people like us....we don't get groupies,
know one wanted us...we're too damn fat and ugly for anyone to
care...

Not that I know of but whatever happens when people blackout is
there own business.

Pills, what kind of pills we takin' about...the Pill like birth
control, hormon pills, asprin, what...what are we talking about
here....

Cheap beer...black label, bud light, PBR....

I once met this pro skater named Bill Weiss and he had like tons
of Mercyful Fate tattoos and I thought it was the greatest
thing...the skateboard industry as a whole should embrace this
guy...

Too many to count but we've played over the whole US, Canada, and
Europe....

Big Acts no, myself yes

anyone....I wake up everyday, live my shit life, and try to make
ends meet and you're gonna tell me not to sellout...Fuck

well the chicks I like to meet, the ones in Rotterdam and Hamburg
usually cost at least 50 bucks, so bring like 100 and the skies
the limit....
