2) How did it get that name?
When you're 20 years old, things are funny that aren't funny... I saw it in the movie Groundhog's Day. There's an insurance salesman that dogs Bill Murray everywhere, and he's always trying to sell him "fire, auto, life, dismemberment plan..."
3) How would you describe your music?
Depends on who I'm talking to. If it's my mom's friends, I say rock, and if they're hip enough, I don't really have to. I generally say "louder Talking Heads" to those inbetween. Then I try to change the subject!
4) Who is in the band and what do they play?
Eric Axelson plays bass and keyboards, Jason Caddell plays guitar and keyboards, Joe Easley plays drums, and I (Travis Morrison) play guitar and keyboards and sing.
5) What is the scene like in your community?
Great! Supportive, self-perpetuating, principled, and great bands.
6) Who are the bands influences?
Well, there's too many to count. Anyone from Fugazi to Stevie Wonder.
11) What is your favorite drink?
I like Cosmopolitans, marguritas (if they're made right,) white russians... and on the non-alkie side, water, OJ, and coca-cola.
13) Do you skateboard?
Nope.
14) What do you think of skating these days?
It's all I think about. All day, all night. I haven't slept in weeks.
15) How many tours have you been on?
Geez, I got no idea. 15-20.
16) Have you played with any big acts?
Um... Pearl Jam, Morphine, Veruca Salt, Built to Spill...

Yeah, I'm hoping so.

19) Any advice on how to pick up on chicks?
Be Sean Tillmann. Failing that, just be fun. The famous actor Jean-Paul Belmondo once said "everyone knows that the ugly guy with the lines gets all the chicks," and those are words to live by. Then you become the guy that everyone else wonders about. You get a mystique. How does he do it?... Also, don't sit around obsessing about how to "pick up chicks," because that makes you a loser.
20) Do you like Kid Rock?
I'd like to, but they tunes are never that great. He's clearly a bright guy, so the records should be a lot better, but the songs are always too forced together. You got your rap, your hard rock, but they don't mesh well.

Vaguely.
25) How many people usually attend your shows?
Depends on the town. In the last year we've played to crowds of 150 and 1400 (over two nights.)

The Darth Vader theme.
28) Have you ever been in any fights?
No. Fighting is weak, weak, weak.

Quiet, private ones.
30) Have any kids been killed at your shows? What is the closest that has
come to happening?
Wow, that would certainly get some press... maybe we should arrange that. None that I knew, but maybe they quickly got the body out of there so as to not upset the Talent.
