I have combined the two weeks homework into this page because the content is related.

(This week's assignment is a bit confusing. I had to go to week 6, check out the tutorials there, then complete this week.)
The design and use of the navigation bar is fairly interesting and can definitely enhance a webpage's design and visual appeal. I created one vertically and put it in a frame on the side of the page; it worked very well as a templated page. Unfortunately, I didn't save it properly and right now I don't have the time to fix it and post it here. During the week, I will try to work on it and get it put in here.
I am using Dreamweaver CS3 and there are a few differences in the menu choices for this particular feature. In the tag window, under behaviors, there is no option for the pop up window described in the tutorial for this week. I have searched the entire set of commands and simply cannot find it. The pop-up menu is a very useful function to have, and the closest thing I can find is the Spry Widgets; the functionality is the same, but it doesnt have the same visual appeal.
I will do some research and update this page when I find an anwer.
This is an example of a Spry Menu Bar. It has the sam functionality of the Navigation Bar, with a dropdown type menu; however, I think it lacks any visual appeal.
Here are a few examples of the buttons that were created using the tutorials. Again, I ran into the problem of actually being able to use them as described in the tutorials. I am sure that with some research and practice, I will figure it out. I like the functionality and aesthetic appeal of the buttons.
