Hi everybody!

I’ve only been back a few days and I already miss everyone so much!

The tour was as usual an unforgettable and special experience for me. The only downfall was that I was so sick the whole time, as most of you already know. (Don’t worry it wasn’t SARS!) It was a bit tough sometimes, but thankfully I was still able to perform. I’m really grateful to all my fans for all the encouragement and giving me the inspiration to go on. It was truly an honor for me to be able to perform for such sweet and generous human beings!

I was not able to meet all of you this time unfortunately, but I was able to see some of you again. I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for all the letters, presents, and love. All of your smiles, words, and affection meant everything in the world to me, and always made me forget I wasn’t healthy. The band and I had so much fun with you guys in the audience night after night!

I want to send a special “hello” and “I love you” out to Yukarine, Yumi, Takuya, Takao, Nori, Tomomi and Yukika! Thanks for coming to the airport, for the presents and for the letters. I will cherish the fan book and the pictures you gave me forever! Your dedication to my music amazes me! I can’t wait to talk to all of you and to see you in Japan again!

Also I want to apologize to all of the fans that bought tickets to the two shows in Nagoya that I had to cancel. I was so sick I couldn’t get out of bed, but it truly broke my heart that I wasn’t able to perform for you that evening. Especially since I know that some of you traveled great distances that night to be there! I hope I can make it up to you!

Special shout outs to all my new friends in Fukuoka! James, Miami, Grace, Miu, Jamie, and “T” and everybody at the Voodoo Lounge! The band and I had a great time with you! Thank you for being so generous to us!

There was a very sweet man in Fukuoka who sent me a Hakata doll. I felt so bad that I did not get to meet you at the show! If had known I would have made the effort to thank you in person for the beautiful gift. The band and I truly adore the presents you gave to us. And the hakata doll you gave me stands proudly on my bookshelf. It is a gorgeous and meaningful gift, and I will treasure the doll forever. At the moment I am back in Europe and I will start to work on the new album. I am a little bit sad that the tour is over, because I had such an amazing time. I realized on this trip how much I love Japan! It is a truly unique country, with a very special way of life. Every time I am there I always have a wonderful time, and learn a little bit more about life. I have traveled to many places, but the fans that are the deepest in my heart will always be my fans in Japan. Thank you so much for enrichening my life and for supporting my music. I will always have more admiration for you than you will ever have for me!
