The Waterfront Casino was opened next door to the Westcliff casino by the same management in an attempt to promote this casino as a 'quieter' small casino for customers who preferred this style of atmosphere. A small casino, with 3 roulette tables and a couple of blackjack and casino stud poker tables, the format was not seen to be successful, and the casino closed after a few years in 2002. The casino has now been re-opened as Spieler's casino, promoted as a sports bar and casino to attract younger customers.
