Well, I am very sorry to have to post this page, as it may be the last one with my sailing adventures as the main subject, at least for now. For the 4th of July, Tempest was sailed to Puerto Rico, where the Coors Light Sundance Regatta took place. All in all it was a fabulous time. We ended up taking 2nd in our class, and added to our list of sailing stories to tell. We returned to St. Thomas on Monday, the 7th. About halfway home, Tempest was dis-masted in about 100 feet of water. We lost the entire rig. So for now, my sailing career is on hold. |

This spot is for Capt. John. He took me upon Tempest and trained me from a snot-nosed landlubber into a mast man with part-time fore-deck experience. To Capt. John... THANK YOU for ..... EVERYTHING!! |
