| [RentzFree NASCAR Tribute] |
My Favorite Races from the Past AND my personal Favorite Tracks (drawn from first-hand experience and watching on TV) The RentzFree NASCAR Tribute provides Insights and Commentary based on events I have seen and/or attended. These are races I have watched Live (In Person) OR that were most memorable on television. Admittedly, this is a continual "work in progress" review of NASCAR given its' changing faces and locations. Additionally, my personal perspectives and recommendations may change regularly on the "best of the best" in stock car racing. Enjoy... |

(My favorite track -- 1/2 mile legend with "Racin' The Way It 'Oughta Be") Talladega Superspeedway (A close 2nd -- SUPER FAST action on the 2.67 miler [Bristol's polar opposite]) Richmond International Raceway (Tied with 'dega -- NASCAR needs more 3/4 mile tracks like this one) Dover International Speedway (My first race there will be June 2005! MONSTER MILE says it all) Lowe's Motor Speedway (Charlotte) (My first race was HERE in May 2002 -- the best hospitality around) |
(My first Bristol night race -- and a great one it was) April 2003 -- Junior wins 5 straight at Talladega! (I'm not even a Junior fan, but this race made me love Talladega) March 2003 -- Craven beats Busch in a photo finish at Darlington - 0.001 seconds! (I love Darlington -- a great old track with fantastic history) August 1999 -- Dale Earnhardt steals a victory from Terry Labonte! (An incident that made me angry with Dale Sr. -- a legend of the sport -- but hooked me on Bristol forever) May 2002 -- Mark Martin holds off the field to win the Winston No Bull Million in Charlotte! (My first race was a good one -- Martin drove a great race (breaking a winless streak) AND a cool million dollars, too [extra link 1] [extra link 2] ... |
