KINDERKEN SCIENCE ARTICLES KENDRA'S KORNER THE FISSION THEORY OF MOON FORMATION       The Fission Theory is our theory number 3. This means that the moon formed at the "same time" as the Earth and came "from the Earth."       The Fission Theory says when the Earth was formed it was a glowing hot ball. The moon came from the hot, fast spinning Earth.       This theory cannot be true because the astronauts found magnetic rocks on the moon.
