KINDERKEN SCIENCE ARTICLES ETHAN'S EPHOD THE SEPARATE FORMATION THEORY OF THE MOON        The Separate Formation Theory is our theory number 1. This means the moon was formed at "the same time" and "not at the Earth."      The Separate Formation Theory says the Earth and the Moon were made out of a cloud of gas at the same time but separately and not in the same place.      This theory can't be true because the astronauts found many rocks on the moon that were differentiate. (Differentiate rocks are made from different minerals which are crushed together -- a note inserted by Marshall.) They can't be crushed on the moon because there is not enough gravity on the moon to crush rocks, so they had to be crushed somewhere else. -------- Ethan Smith, Kinderken November 1993
