� This past year, I was involved in my school's literary magazine, and even had two pieces chosen for publication.� The magazine recently received national recognition for the third straight year.
This is not to say that I am a total expert in poetry.� Most recently I have been reading Keats' "Endymion" and T.S. Eliot's "The Wasteland", two contrasting pieces, in an effort to improve my writing.� My demeanor has always been one to help others.� I have been published before, and I have been known to have a key eye for critiques.� I can spot with accuracy a great poem from one that needs a little work.� I want to convey my joy for this art with the rest of you out there. You may be struggling, or you may already be accomplished.� By communicating we can learn from each other, and so improve immeasurably.� So I encourage you, send your poem in - don't worry about whether it's good or not - and I will gladly help you out, or direct you to others.� Don't be afraid, and always, be creative.
