Road Trip

Prologue - September 8, 2002
OK, this s my road trip, New York to California. In the Ohio blue cruiser. I traveled with my dad, the best gambler and driver in the world; he knows the streets on the back of his hand. My uncle Thac came along as well; he was the fastest driver (over 100 mph+) and he is only 19. Phillip, the best at the arcades, came as well. My bratty little sister came too. I can see that she'll convince my dad to carry her cause her feet are tired.

At home, 5am - August 9, 2002
We woke up, jumped out of bed, packed our things and hopped the car. We drove to Thac's house, picked him up, drove to Oakland airport and bounced a plane.

On the plane - August 9, 2002
Great, I'm in the plane. Spiderman is on. Fantastic, eh? Shi, the food I ate, before we went on the plane, is so expensive! $1.15 for a freakin' banana? WAH! I heard they are serving breakfast on the plane. I hope they don't skip me. The view up here is spectacular, seriously. Although the girl sitting next to me was a bit stuck up, glaring at me as if I'm on the wrong seat. I got the window! We were stuck on the plane for 15 minutes before taking off. Crazy, huh? Well, I hope they serve breakfast soon. I'm hungry. Oh my god! I can see Sacramento! I'm on the wrong side of the plane so I can't see my house. Boo. There are radio stations on the plane.

On the plane... still - August 9, 2002
Oiy (as Brittany would say), my stomach is feeling a bit queasy. Forget the bit, its really churning! I shouldn't have drunk all that orange juice. Oh, it's weird feeling. I have to go to the bathroom! BOO! But the sign says, LAVATORY_OCCUPIED! AGH! I have to go so bad! I'm going hysterical! I hope the people pee quickly. I really have to go! It will be 1 more hour till we land. Oh. I feel hurt.

Sheraton Hotel - August 9, 2002
Finally, we got here! When we were on the plane, we kind of, got lost. Hehehe, we split, so it was Phillip, Tiffany, Thac and I! Where did my dad go?! We'll he found us eventually. We rented from Hertz an Ohio blue cruiser. Ohio! I heard people from New York would jack cars that don't have the NYC license plate! Wah! Anyways our hotel number is 1119. We threw down our stuff and bought pastries from the bakery. Bo Lo Bao! Pineapple skin bread! The best pastry of the world! After we ate, we went back to the hotel. Dropped off the other pastries we bought, saving them for breakfast the next morning, and going to the Little Vietnamese Restaurant. Yum, the streets of Flushing Center, New York are bustling, fast and packed. San Francisco is way opposite of that. San Francisco, a stop and smell the roses town. People are
always in your way, because they slow down too much! New York, you have to be light on your toes. Back to our hotel, the phone rang; no one was there, creepy? O_o

Sleeping on the bed in the hotel - August 10, 2002
I feel like crap! The air condition is on, and I happen to be the one sleeping next to it! I'm hungry now. My arms are getting tired, I haven't written in so long! I hope I eat something soon. Mm! Bo Lo Bough (Pineapple Bread)! Yum! Flushing Center! I wonder where we are going today. Maybe I should switch my writing to print. Ugh. This is harder, but if I write cursive, no one can read it. Oh well, Hahaha? I miss my computer already. And my readable fonts...

Hotel Room - August 10, 2002
Went to Bailey Produce Building, there was a fat jolly guy there named Bailey, I guess he is the owner judging the size of his bling bling and weight. We were bored. Then we went to Taiwan Produce, and met up with the 'cheapskate' (My mom said that when I told her about him) man named Jimmy, he wasn't all that bad; he treated us to a Malaysian Cuisine. There were crepes and curry mixture. It was good. After that, we walked around the streets on New York, New York. We did some haggling and most of the booths we're selling illegal stuff. Like movies that didn't come out, watches, sunglasses and CDs! We tried to catch a cab. But after an hour later, we found out it only sits four people! The nerve! We called up a taxi service, and they sent us a black Mercedes. Yay, we went back to our hotel, the maid will kick us out soon. BOO. My feet are tired. The streets of New York City reek, crammed and full of HOT Asians and Blacks! W00t! My sister is in an unpleasant mood right now; best not bother her.

In bed - August 10, 2002
Finally, after a days worth of walking (in heels/platforms), burning up five pounds (Haha, I wish), we went to a fancy underground restaurant! Upstairs was a bakery. It would be so messed if was also a secret gambling center. We stayed there for three hours. The first hour, we snacked on peanuts. The second hour, we ate real grub. The third hour, we made peashooters (We used the paper that wrapped the straws, ripped the top part and blew in it, the wrap goes flying at whatever you aim) and folded napkin cranes. Hehe, it was grand. We walked back to our hotel; the air was oddly warm and fresh, and the streets were practically empty! We went in and out of the hotel, and went to the bakery. We were going to leave tomorrow. I will miss Flushing Center. I want to see the statue of Liberty.

In the rental car - August 11, 2002
I have to go pee bad! I woke up 5am this morning and these movies were on, I fell back asleep. I woke up, this time my sister was bouncing on the bed! I ate bread topped with cream of corn. Then I changed, and then we packed up and left. Now, in the rental car, going to pay cash in the toll both to go to New York, New York! Boo, I have to go pee! I'm sitting in the back of the car. Woo. I hope I can pass some friends for real. We paid, paid the guy doesn't accept pennies. Stupid, now we are going through a tunnel. BOO. The light is hard and I can't write that well, in a car too. I come across these signs, or cities, downtown, cross-town and uptown?? WHA?

-They were screening a movie in New York, wow.
-National Debt??
-Toys R Us!
-Trinity Church

On the road - August 11, 2002
All we do is argue, over a deck of cards and the true way to play spoons and my ship sails. AM to PM is on, you hear? We are going to Atlantic City! Walking Away is on 2100! I LOVE this song! My brother is SO stubborn. Oh no, it smells like churros. Lots of stores here like Broadway and the famous 5th street. Yum. It's so hot it's not even funny. I need a girl P2 is on. My brother stuck his feet out the window and people walk by and stare at it. LOL! Yum, Nestea Ice tea!
J! Lemony flavor. A car honks every 1-minute or 2 seconds. Its SO cramped in New York! The roads are really bumpy, dumb potholes. Ugh, interferers with my writing. We are going through a really long tunnel. Terrorists wanted to bomb it.

12:52pm>> We're in New Jersey!
01:00pm>> Dilemma is on! YAYAYA!
03:06pm>> I slept for one hour and 45 minutes. I feel like crap. We went to BK to relieve ourselves. I washed my face. It's freezing in the car, but heating outside.
03:15pm>> We arrived at Atlanta City, America's Favorite Playground. We are staying at Chump Plaza. LMAO, Trump Plaza.

-Too many tollbooths.
-I didn't bring a bathing suit. Boo.

1:21pm - August 12, 2002
We are in Atlantic City, Pennsylvania. Ok, yesterday we went on the Atlantic boardwalk we went to the little carnival and we get addictive to the games. It was a pretty long way back. They made me walk (OK! I insisted that I should walk cause the riding booth was cramped). We went to a bad and expensive Chinese place to eat. Yuck. After that we played miniature golf. I got my first hole in one. This morning, we went to Dim sum. They serve the food from little carts and after that, we where in Philadelphia, and I feel like crap, for real. My writing looks like a first grader's. This is getting uncomfortable.  Wait, I'm getting a little more uncomfortable. I feel as if I don't know what to do or how to dress properly.

5:39pm - August 12, 2002
Nothing but boredom we played (or I played) cards most of the time. And slept, and ate, and read, and listened to music. But it's all good. Pennsylvania has a lot of trees. We hit Ohio and ate pizza. We are going to stay in a hotel. Poo. It's going to take us twice as long to get home now! POO! It's going to be a night soon. We got to our hotel a midnight!

Chicago - August 13, 2002
We slept at Hampton Inn and got free breakfast. Breakfast! The donut or the orange juice gave me a stomachache. And did I have to hold it in or what! I finally got to go in Steak and Shake. Owe. We slept in Indiana. Now I am in Chicago, Illinois! Woo! The buildings are SO high! This place is huge! I slept on Tiff's Teddy we won at the boardwalk. It's a race against time. I now discovered that there is Chinatowns in every state! Woo!

Sorry - August 14, 2002
We went to Illinois and dad's charming friend treated us to Dim Sum. We ran up and down the stairs. We went to Iowa. Beautiful scenery. Nebraska, slept during Wyoming. We drove in and out of Phillip's heaven. Salt Lake City, Utah. Gorgeous. All we can see is *gags* salt! Nooo?.

Wave to the other cars as if you're a maniac! We are now in Nebraska!

2:24pm - August 14, 2002
We are so bored. Just 20 minutes. We just shoved candy corn up my sister's nose. And one is hanging out of her mouth. Dilemma is on. Hehe. Are those rolling(eyes)? Are those open? My brother stuck M & Ms up his nose. Don't worry, I took a picture. It lasts longer. Hehehe.

7:39pm - August 14, 2002
We are at Lake Tahoe. Earlier, we were at Circus Circus and played in the arcade. DDR! We got A LOT of stuffed animals! Serious! We ate at the buffet. Yuck. All I know now is that by 10:30, we will be home.

Epilogue 7:24pm - October 24, 2002
WOO!! I thought I would never finish this story! Hehe, about time! My left hand is cold and my right is hot. I have to wash dishes soon. Boo. Anyways, it was a good trip. Business trip. Blah.
