Scanner Heaven!

Poor me, I am not smart enough to run a scanner without help from some of the library staff to guide me on the way. The biggest concern for me is, how to set up the size for the finished picture on the screen?

I did find one program that lets me resize pictures, once I have them. The Visioneer Paper Port scanner program loaded at the library allows you to set the size of the picture easily when it is being finalized. However, the B&W scanner that Jean has does not give the slightest idea of final picture size on the software.

Here are some pictures of California Poppies, in different resolutions. The first one is regular color photo resolution, the second is sharp color photo resolution. The third one is "million color" resolution set for sharpness. For the next bunch of pictures, go to and look at the next set!
