Poor me, I am the only one in the Mulford family who does not have a geographic name! But my four "GeoKids" are proud of their distinctive name and the heritage of their father, Vally, whose name started it all. To prove the point, they are arrayed in the picture below in true "round the world" fashion! Just a perfect fit for a site in GeoCities, don't you think? So I decided to use the nickname, "Sierrama," to get even with them. And I get to take the pictures, develop them, and now put them on the net!
Problem is, I now have a Texas accent on top of the Canadian accent I picked up when we lived in Toronto a couple of years. Let's see if you can follow the way these children are arranged in the photo. [Besides my own kids, a couple of neighbor children managed to sneak into the picture.] From the top and then anti-clockwise (see what I mean about the accent?) they are: Torrey Kanyin, Rydge Blue, a friend-Zach, Raveen Aspen, Desert Kas, and a friend-Josh. Got that? If not, check out the next picture!
We had a great time going to the pumpkin farm east of the Dallas area, where we live, to pick out a few to use for Jack O'Lanterns just before Hallowe'en in 1997. Here is our youngest, Desert Kas, showing us the one he decided on. And then, right next to him, the other kids strike a pose.
Here's a nice picture of Torrey Kanyin, our oldest daughter, riding on "Chips," holding on to her sister, Raveen Aspen. Guess why we used the horse background for this page?
