Since 1933, the Southeastern Conference has been a college sports juggernaut.
The orginal members are: Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU,
Mississippi, Mississippi State, Tennessee, & Vanderbilt (if Tulane was an original member, then you all can bitch at the SEC homepage). In 1990, South Carolina
and Arkansas joined the fun

As one College Sports Chatter commented, "Ever notice how SEC fans are maniacal
about their football?" I agreed with the individual and stated, "Those are fans after
my own heart."

I just wanted to prop all the SEC fans for supporting their teams, their undying love
for NCAA football, and their ability to suffer through losses like some of us Big Ten
fans.

My wife once asked me, "Why do you allow the Buckeyes to control your emotions
and effect you so negatively when they lose??" My response was, "Maybe I am an
SEC fan stuck in a Buckeye body."
