Write Me a Poem of Nothing

 

1          “Write me one more verse,”

2          She said.

3          “Something terse,”

4          She said.

5          “A sweet little nothing.”

 

6          “I can’t do that,”

7          He said.

8          “You can’t?”

9          She said.

10        “Just one line, really nothing.”

 

11        “I would, but I do,”

12        He said

13        “I do… Love you,”

14        He said.

15        “And that is more than nothing.”
