This began, on a ride home from Kelowna in June 2001. I was sick at a swim meet, and my parents came to pick me up. (We later discovered I had my famous 102 fever... we're talking farenheit here!).

All I wanted was my bed. Sleep. But my dad had to stop for coffee. I remembered how in Drama class we would always make fun of the heavy New Yorker (think Fran from the Nanny) accent. I thought it would make a cool song.

About a week later, when I felt better, I filled in the gaps. This was the beginning of my new style of guitar. I was picking now. And straying from strumming.
