What I believe:
My supreme desire is to know Christ and to be conformed to His image by the power of the Holy Spirit.
I am not denominational, nor am I opposed to denominations as such, only their overemphasis of doctrinal differences which have led to the division of the Body of Christ.
I believe that the only true basis of Christian fellowship is His (agape) love, which is greater than any differences we possess, and without which we have no right to claim ourselves Christians.
I believe worship of God should be spiritual. Therefore, I remain flexible and yielded to the leading of the Holy Spirit to direct my worship.
I believe worship of God should be inspirational. Therefore, I give great place to music in my worship.
I believe worship of God should be intelligent. Therefore, I prefer to attend churches where great emphasis is placed upon teaching of the Word of God that He might instruct me as to how He should be worshipped.
I believe worship of God should be fruitful. Therefore, I long for His love in my life as the supreme manifestation that I have truly been worshipping Him.
On Life's Busy Thoroughfares We Meet With Angels Unawares
I've never seen God, but I know how I feel
It's people like you who make him "So Real"
My God is no stranger, He's friendly and gay
And He doesn't ask me to weep when I pray
It seems that I pass Him so often each day
In the faces of people I meet on my way
He's the stars in the heaven, a smile on some face
A leaf on a tree or a rose in a vase
He's winter and autumn and summer and spring
In short, God is Every Real and Wonderful Thing
I wish I might meet Him much more than I do
I would if there were More People Like You.

Luke 4:10&11
For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee: And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at anytime thou dash thy foot against a stone.
A PRAYER SUMS UP THE WISDOM OF AGE
Legend says Commodore John W. Caunce, Master of the original Queen Elizabeth, the majestic ocean liner of the Cunard Line, kept a framed copy in his quarters. The Commodore unselfishly shared it with his passengers. So in unselfish delight, I am sharing it with all those who have never read it.
Lord, thou knowest better than I know myself that I am growing older and will someday be old. Keep me from the fatal habit of thinking I must say something on every subject and on every occasion. Release me from craving to straighten out everybody's affairs. Make me thoughtful but not moody, helpful but not bossy. With my vast store of wisdom, it seems a pity not to use it all, but thou knowest, Lord, that I want a few friends at the end. Keep my mind free from the recital of endless details; give me wings to get to the point. Seal my lips on my aches and pains. They are increasing, and love of rehearsing them is becoming sweeter as the years go by. I dare not ask for grace enough to enjoy the tales of others' pains, but help me to endure them with patience. I dare not asked for improved memory, but for a growing humility and a lessening cocky sureness when my memory seems to clash with the memories of others. Teach me the glorious lesson that occasionally I may be mistaken. Keep me reasonably sweet.
I do not want to be a saint some of them are so hard to live with but a sour old person is one of the crowning works of the devil. Give me the abilityto see good things in unexpected places and talents in unexpected people. And give me, Lord the Grace to tell them so. Amen. As told by Judge Charles A. Wofford
