But not everyone can get to New York, so touring companies, television, and films have brought the Musical to life for millions of people.
Now, thanks to the internet, you can experience the excitement of the Musical without even leaving your home. Today you will go on a virtual Treasure Hunt searching for answers to questions about the Broadway Musical. Unfortunately, our time on Broadway will be limited. At the end of the Hunt, be prepared to recommend the ONE Broadway show you would most like to attend. Be prepared to defend your selection! As you participate in this Treasure Hunt prepare yourself to become part of the magic that is Musical Theatre.

There are so many musicals that have been created over the last 100 plus years that have brought laughter, tears, insight, and joy to people that there is bound to be something for you. So get off the computer, get dressed, get out of your house and visit a theatre. But before you go, chose one Broadway show that you want to find out more about it. As the Leading Player from Pippin sings: "There's magic to do-just for you-there are miracle plays to play.....there are parts to perform-hearts to warm..." and on and on and on. So enjoy the magic that is Musical Theatre!
