John: "I've tried a lot of basses over the years and for me you made the right tool to express myself and as a proud owner of three Jaydees I say: The concept is good, never change it,just improve it. "

Well, I bought the S/N 04364 some time back in the early or mid '90s as far as I can remember. The odd thing about buying her was that I was extremely drunk when I was offered the bass. I thought I was being offered a Status 5 string for 300 pounds....I finally realised what was really on offer but have never regretted buying the Jaydee. I have a few different basses now but the Jaydee has a unique and distinctive sound and playability. Soon to be heared on a project on Mp3.com.
Cheers,  Mik

I've owned around 50 basses over the last 15 years, ever looking 'that' sound. One of my first basses was a Jaydee. Having tried Status,Wal,Warwick (loving them all) I have come full circle and now own three Jaydees. All of them are different, but all have one thing in common-that unique JD sound. Whether you slap, play fingerstyle,or plectrum, they all have that open sound and breathe tone beautifully.
Thank you John and Andrew!
