This is a picture of Alma from about 1938.  She was working for Blocks department store as a buyer. She says that she would walk areound the circle in downtown Indianapolis, going to her second job with a law firm. Every day a photographer would ask to take her picture and she would always say no. One day, he took the picture and just gave it to her. More later...
