Incredible picture quality. Supposedly
someone got a miniDV camera plugged into a
pre-broadcast feed to record this. The video
is timed and rotates between several cameras
set up all around the stage. It doesn't get
any closer to the band than this, the stage
is very well lit and the picture is very
clear and detailed throughout. In the lower
left corner it says S3 over the video (like
a vcr timestamp), and some of the cameras
seem to pick up a bit of interference that
makes the picture a bit wobbly and distorted
but still not too bad.
The video source apparently had no audio, so
a DAT audio source was used. While the sound
is excellent quality, there are many short
dropouts. In the beginning they mostly fall
between songs, but toward the middle/end of
the disc some are during the songs. None of
them were longer than a second or two except
one toward the end between songs that lasted
maybe 5-10 seconds. These errors are from
the source and are not a burning/transfer
error.
The disc doesn't include any generation info
and the menu is minimal from a standalone
burner. There is chapter selection that is
set to the songs (not the usual 5:00
standalone chapters), though it is not a
part of the menu.
