Roleplay #4

[ The camera opens up to a wide shot of a jammed crowd. They are all excited to see the next action that they paid for with their hard earned money. Suddenly, the lights go black and all you can hear is the fading in of AC/DC's "Thunderstruck". The giant screen flickers to life and a video begins to play.

Once the chorus hits a flash of blue pyro explodes from both sides of the stage and the lights return. TheStorm is seen in the center walking down the ramp with Paul Williamson close behind. The two men get towards the ring and Paul Williamson walks towards the ring announcer's table. TheStorm reaches the apron and begins walking around the ring, running his hand along the ringside apron. He gets all the way around the ring and then climbs in using the stairs. He steps along into the center of the ring and looks around at the packed crowd. Paul then yells at TheStorm and tosses the mic over the top rope. TheStorm looks and snatches the mic out of the air. TheStorm looks around a little longer while Paul climbs into the ring and stands in one of the corners. TheStorm raises the mic and... ]

TheStorm: [ lowers his head ] It's electric, isn't it Paul? [ Paul nods ] This is the same ring that I will show the XWF who is going to take this world by storm. This very ring will be the resting place of several newcomers that think they can make it in this business. I am ready to show them all that this is truly the end of the line. All I hear everytime I look is "I am the greatest" and "I am extreme". What a load of sh*t. At the end of the day, words are just words. None of them have what it takes to keep up with me, and I will show them all what it takes to be a superstar in the XWF. CAN YOU ALL FEEL IT!?

[ The crowd rises and begins to cheer loudly. A slowly starting "Storm, Storm... " chant begins to start. After a moment the crowd settles to continue listening. ]

TheStorm: Sunday. It will all come to view on Sunday. Lucente's Xtreme Elimination Match is going to happen and I will show that it doesn't matter how many competitors are in that ring with me. One after another, they will all fall at my hands. I have spent the past couple weeks training my body in the gym. More importantly, I've spent my entire life preparing my mind for a chance like this. There is no road block big enough, no hurdle high enough, and no wrestler strong enough, to take down TheStorm for the 1..... 2.............. 3. I've seen Tyrant burn his neighbor alive. What a pathetic attempt to show how hardcore you are! You're neighbor is nothing compared to the talent I possess. You can take your neighbor in the bedroom and take him however you want. It doesn't make one bit of difference. You will still fall. Christopher Idol thinks that a house show opponent that he beat quickly will make him seem stronger, or more ready. Bullsh*t. There is nothing Christopher Idol can do in this physical world that will make him at all ready for what is coming for him on Sunday night. Nothing. And then Matt Sharper beats up a fencing referee. Ha ha ha ha ha. What a joke! You know when you've reached the low point in your career when your competition is a man that couldn't beat his way out of a paper bag. Pitiful. I guess if Matt Sharper needs the practice that bad, I'll go get some circus midgets and let him have a Storm's Xtreme Circus Midget Elimination match with them. He can practice for the match by beating up a track and field referee and then pretend that he has a chance against those "wicked and menacing" midgets. I hope he's ready! Ha ha ha ha ha! ....... [ sighs ] The era of TheStorm will begin on Sunday night, but my time for tonight is done. Only two more days...

[ With that TheStorm drops the mic and he and Paul Williamson exit the ring to a standing ovation of the jammed crowd. "Thunderstruck" hits as the two walk up the ramp and exit through the curtain. The crowd begins to settle and the song fades away. The camera then fades to black. ]
