Story: Greg Regan was born in Key West, Florida on March 30, 1985. He was having a normal childhood until terror struck in 1997 when Category 4 Hurricane Georges made landfall in the Gulf of Mexico. Greg Regan was at home with his father watching and preparing for the oncoming storm. Greg’s mother however was grounded in Cuba while visiting relatives. When flights were cancelled because of adverse weather, his mother had to stay and wait for the storm to pass. His mother was in a shelter when a tree collapsed upon the structure, killing his mother underneath a concrete wall. From there, Greg Regan was raised by his father until he graduated in 2003. After graduation, Greg went to the Florida Keys Community College for one year to begin study in a Health/Fitness Training field. He ran into wrestling by chance while at a small gym in Key West. He met a man that many know as the Wild Samoan Afa. Greg didn’t know a lot of the wrestling world, but it was Afa who came to Greg and offered a new career in wrestling. As some of you know, the Wild Samoan Afa was trained by High Chief Peter Maivia and Rocky Johnson. Afa is also an uncle to The Rock, Rikishi, Yokozuna, and is related to Rocky Johnson and Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka. After three years of training with Afa at The Wild Samoan Pro Wrestling Training Center, Greg “TheStorm” Regan felt ready for the professional world of wrestling.
