| I checked out this ballpark on a very beautiful Friday afternoon following a training seminar in Nashville. This ballpark is pretty old and will be hosting its 28th year of professional baseball this season. (I was 1 year old when the park opened.) I was able to get great access again to check this park out. Mrs. Ridley of the Nashville Sounds front office let me go throughout the park snapping pictures at my leisure. She was very nice. Although this ballpark is old (relative to the ones I have visited thus far), it is still pretty nice. It has a rather loud metal structure that echoed throughout the stadium on this quite afternoon. The general admission seats are bleacher style and have make that weird noise when you walk on them. The seating in the ballpark is somewhat heavy on the first base line. The dimensions to the park are as follows: Left Field 327', Center Field 400' and Right Field 327'. Belmont University also plays here during their college season. This will be the next last year of the Nashville Sounds playing at Greer Stadium. In 2007, Nashville Sounds will be playing in their new downtown balpark First Tennessee Field. PICTURES FINALLY HERE!
