| This was a very nice ballpark. I did not get a chance to watch a game there considering that pitchers and catchers have just reported to Spring Break just two days ago. The park has a nice crisp and clean look to it. One down side though is that it is in the outskirts of town, so there is no city skyline view from the park. It is just a few minutes from downtown though. It is very nice and there are good views of the field from all the seats that I looked at. The office staff were very nice and allowed me to walk at my liesure through the empty park and snap some pictures of the park. It was a pretty cold day though when I was there. One thing I liked about the park was the cute dog that is prominently featured on the state of the art scoreboard. The dimensions of the park are 320 feet in left field, 401 feet in center field, and 318 feet in right field. There are several areas to enjoy yourself in the park from the Pepsi Party Deck, the Budweiser Horse Park, and Maker's Mark pub. Another thing that was interesting about the park is that it shares a parking lot with a strip mall next to the park. So after the game you can enjoy some Sir Pizza pizza. Hopefully I will be able to watch a game here some time this season. (That is if Jocelyn lets me.) PICTURES COMING SOON! RETURN TO BASEBALL HOME PAGE |
