Chapter seven of Autobiography

When I was growing up my Mother and her Siblings were all fat--except for Joe. and maybe the twins--who carried all the beef they had eaten in their midsections.
My two brother started getting fat. When I was in the fourth grade or so and we were fishing in a river in SE OKlahoma, with our relatives, I noticed my tummy had a layer of fat on it.  I said "no"
No I will not let myself get fat. whatever it takes I will not get fat. fat is clumsy.
When I was in high school and was responsible for milking the cow twice a day, I became overly fond of french toast and consumed large quantities of it and learned to throw it away  when I was outside milking the cow.
