I participated in three art fairs and sold paintings in them.
Next I converted a green house into an art studio, got a business license and a business name and  opened with an art show every weekend for about a year.
Next, I visited the Carmel Art Galleries and dreamed of having my works displayed there.  Just before I moved out of Chico for the last time my least had expired but I had a bunch of paintings to finish and sell.  And I did.  That was an experience: Living out of my car and storage unit for two months and having  no home except where I was painting on location.  I was more visible as an artist than ever. They even showed me on TV painting on location in downtown Chico and let me answer the question what I lke to paint.
Then I went back for more Art classes: painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, 3-D design, printmaking and art history.
I got seriously influenced by Cubism. I did special studies on Picasso/Braque, Gauguin, Cezanne and Van Gogh.
Then I began visiting the Dallas Galleries and dreaming of how I could get my stuff displayed there.
And I learned to make a Website and constructed this one.
That's about where I'm at.
As far as my style I have a conglomeration of tendencies that I think could be called Post-Modern pluralism.
I see it this way: Movements, which equate to styles, started with the Impressionists and went wherever the Avant Garde took them.  Modernism started and ended with Picasso.
