Sifu Sid Asuncion recently passed away due to an aneurysm. He will be sorely missed.
Sifu Asuncion was in the martial arts for over 45 years and was one of only a few instructors that came out of the Palama Settlement. He developed many of the high quality Black Belts, including Al Dela Cruz, Al Dacascos, George Iverson, Dennis Sabala and Sisto Ramos to name a few. The generations of Black Belts that have come from him currently number in the hundreds. He was ranked 9th degree in Kajukenbo but held 10th degree in his own KenKaBo organization.
