| I'm the eldest of four siblings of Frank and Tess D.Rosario. They're both not able to at least finish high school because of poverty. Although they were not blessed with material things in this world, they were both blessed with a lot of faith and trust with our God. That's why from my young age I started to know Him little by little. As time passed by I learned and confrimed to myself how good and almighty He was. I have two brothers and one sister. Being the eldest of four and the eldest of the girls, I was responsible for household chores and looking after my younger brothers and sister. This is to help my mother so that she can assist my father to earn money for our livings. In this young age I also learned how to sew clothes in order to have money as allowance for school until I finished my primary, secondary and associate schools. After graduation, because I'm not a degree holder and at that time we have a lot of unemployed degree holder in our country, I remember myself having a thought of not obtaining a job. Though I have that second thought I overcame it by praying and trusting Him that He will provide what is good for me. In that year 1989, I was hired as production worker at P.E.C., Inc. in the Philippines. Though it was hard at first, I begun to learn and accept that this is for me. After three months, the sister company of my employer announce an opening in the position of office staff. I was hesitant to apply because as I've said I'm not a degree holder. Until one day, the assistant herself of that company approach me and ask me if I'm willing to be transferred to their department once I've passed the test. She said they have seen my resume on file and think that I'm capable of the position. I knew at that time God heard my everyday prayers and I thank Him and praise Him for it. In that year 1990, I was employed as an office staff at P.T.C.., Inc. I learned a lot of experiences and gained a lot of friends during my stay. My experiences from my previous employment as a production worker gave me the knowledge to understand the workers where I was employed at present. Since then, I use this knowledge and experiences to better understand them and I even use it until now. When P.T.C. management decided to relocate the company to another province, I chose not to go. In 1993, I've been hired as clerk at BFM Corporation and then decided to continue my studies. Still praying and believing that God will give the best for me -- In 1999, a better opportunity came for me, I was employed as secretary at BDCorporation. I was blessed with a very supportive bosses and colleagues. The officer of the company even gave me cash advances to support my studies and adjust my time for it. Though it was very hard for me for being a working student I still strived and kept on praying. Truly, I saw how God works, He even gave me friends and people who can help me in times of need. There are times that I can't cope up with my class and requirements in school. But there is always somebody who is willing to help me. Most of the time, I only slept for 2 hours just to keep on my school assignments and catch up in class. In 2002, praise the Lord! I've finished my B.S. Accountancy. Oh! What a relief. I felt I became sick of books and schools. Until one day, BDC promoted me to a higher position. Since then, and until now, I considered BDC as my second family.. Thru our parents' prayers and faith with our Lord, and with their perseverance to be able to give us good welfare, I'm happy to say that we all finished our studies and now tracking our own chosen careers. Prayer is a very powerful means of communications with God, plus the trust and faith with Him. There's nothing impossible for Him if we keep on believing that He will provide what is good for us. He knows the best and every "No" He says have a reason. And I'm sure that reason is for the good of all. |
