Altitude Dive & Class
Did you know we have another great source of diving nearby other than the ocean? Interested in diving with clear vis and different marine life? Well if so, come with us as we explore the many dive sites of Lake Tahoe! We�ll be enjoying diving the west side this year, with it�s many petrified logs and interesting historical artifacts or we�ll explore the wrecks and the old dump of Emerald Bay or how about the scaling the sheer cliffs of granite while on scuba at Rubicon Wall. Join us to learn about High Altitude diving, where we�ll cover altitude diving and decompression theory and physiology; Equipment considerations; Using the different types of dive tables at altitude; and the use of Enriched Air while diving at altitude. If you have your altitude cert. already, come on up and join us for a fun weekend of diving at no cost! The Altitude Diving Specialty course is only $150.00 for either, the recreational diver specialty certification or for the Instructor Specialty rating. This includes materials, instruction and certification dives, as well as an orientation to Lake Tahoe�s marine life. You need to be at least 12 years old and either a Junior or Open Water diver. You will need your own personal diving equipment. It is recommended that you bring at least four scuba tanks. If you are going to dive EANx, please use only 32% due to the altitude.
