It�s the first day of Summer! Skies look very inviting and we�re off down Route 28 through the Great Smoky Mountains still looking for the Tail of the Dragon. It was an absolutely beautiful ride through North Carolina. Lots of twisty roads and gorgeous scenery. We found the Tail of the Dragon at Deal�s Gap and tamed it! 318 curves in 11 miles. Pretty cool. We then headed for Nashville. We tried to stay in Nashville but there was something going on at some place called the Grand Ole Opry and all the hotels were booked. Go figure. We ended up in Bellvue � making it a 300 mile day -- and hooked up with some brothers from the Nashville Chapter. Had a nice time hanging out with them, had some �fruity� drinks and crashed hard for the night.
