Wow � can it really be Day 40? It just does not seem possible. The two of us on the road for 40 days and 40 nights � holy cow (and still speaking to each other). We tried to rack up at least 400 miles today in order to be home tomorrow. We fell a little short and only did about 300. We ran into our first serious rain today. It poured � it really poured. Pita � if you were with us you would certainly have earned that Swamp Rat patch today. I guess all we earn are points for staying upright while rolling through the hills of Tennessee in the pouring rain surrounded by trucks. We stopped in Cookeville and that means that we have another 600 miles to go to get home. We�re hoping the weather will cooperate and that we�ll make it by tomorrow night. It�s an admirable goal and one well worth attaining. Little scarce on pictures today as we only made one stop. Of course it was at a Harley dealer. This one in Nashville. Good night for now.
