Day Thirty
Still in the Great Divide Basin
Takin a break
Day 30 Sunday, July 17th
First and foremost I must mention that we now have another baby.  Its mini me!!  Shes going to join us for the rest of the journey home.  We picked her up in Rock Springs.

We rode for 240 more miles in the wind and were still in Wyoming!  Big state.  Its been sunny everyday but mighty windy.  According to the locals that is how it is all the time here.  Well the windy part anyway.  This is big snow country too.  Glad were missing that part.  We made tracks on the interstate today and then detoured through Medicine Bow National Forest and got cold.  Arrived in Laramie with some dark clouds at our backs and decided to settle down for the night.  We were checking out the local scene and decided to go to the Buckhorn Bar a national historic site with a friendly western atmosphere.  Yeah right.  We rode down there only to discover the bar was full of college kids and some guy singing and playing a kazoo.  The only person that spoke to us was the bartender.  He was nice guy (California transplant) and told us about the bullet holes in the huge mirror behind the bar.  No it wasnt Butch Cassidy making the holes; just some guy who didnt take it very well when his fiance (one of the female bartenders) gave the ring back.  Somebody unloaded a gun into the phone on the wall too they never fixed it just left it dangling.  There were all kinds of game trophies on the walls ranging from buffalo to moose heads and that was about as authentic as it got.  We racked up enough miles now that I need a new back tire so thats our goal for tomorrow.  Looks like well be heading to Cheyenne to get that taken care of.
