Shadowrun Character using Third Edition rules.
The GM will be The Superfly on mIRC's Undernet server at #s-run and #shadowrun.
The rules are somwhat modified for the adventure Shadowrun: Noir
The Noir takes place early in the Shadowrun timeline where Magic and cyberware are new.

01) Where were you the day 1 out of every 10 people goblinized (April 30, 2012)?
My character was at home asleep from the flu with his wife.
He had taken the day off because of the sickness (corporate sick day). When he woke up he was an Ork.
02) How did it affect your life?
It caused tremendous problems in the marriage. His wife left him for another man.
They appeared at the house with some goons and beat him to a bloody pulp. When he awoke his wife, his two girls, and all the possessions were gone.
He swore revenge. Using his contacts at the Computer Firm he worked with he got a little information, but not enough.
He learned that the �new� man in her life was a member of a major corporation (which one he could not be sure of), and that she had bought a plane ticket to Seattle.
That is where they must be. He moved there himself. Since then he has worked on and off on freelance computer jobs, and as a bouncer.
He has recently opened himself up for Shadowrunning work for three reasons.
First, he has not been able to locate his wife or his attackers; he needs the cred to hire more competent computer hackers to locate who and where his wife moved with.
Secondly, it will afford him the necessary skills he needs to enact �justice�.
Thirdly, it can pay the bills chummer.
03) Do you recall the Great Ghost Dance (2017) and the Treaty of Denver (2018)?
It has the basic affects of one who lived in Seattle. He stayed to the streets. Governments and politics change. He cares not for them.
They used to hold a fascination for him, but that was before his humanity was taken from him.
Evidently when the South seceded from UCAS he, now living in Seattle is now a citizen of the UCAS.
04) If so, how did they affect your life?
05) What affect did the Crash of �29 have on your life?
I�m already poor chummer. I lost a lot of computer jobs, so I went into being a bouncer.
06) Have you ever been involved in the Euro Wars -- which currently wages on into its 11th year � and in what capacity?
Dey got wars all over the fraggin place! What the drek do I care about Euro-Crap Whatever.
07) Where were you on February 7, 2039 � the Night of Rage?
Raging baby. What else? I was at the docks.
Thought I was gonna get something for nuthin, what a na�ve idiot I was. The Hand of Five burned those docks to the ground. So many people were killed and burned.
Meta-hate. After what happened to me I know how to hate. I killed five men that night as they tried to kill me and others like me.
08) What repercussions did it have for you?
Because of that night I chose to become a Shadowrunner. I found that I could kill. But I was almost killed myself.
I needed to hone my skills. Especially if I�m gonna have to break into some of these growing corporations�to enact justice of course.
PERSONALITY
Tacitus named himself after an ancient historian. His reasoning is that after his goblinization is that his life was �history�. His new life was �Grimm�, thus he named himself Tacitus Grimm.
He will never refer to himself or his old name. To him he is no longer the same man.
His knowledge of computers is from his past employment (in Louisiana), but they have begun to wane (why it is only at level 3) because of ill-use,
and advancements in the field that he picks up half-heartedly, and sporadically.
Tacitus is also cautious of cyberware and the matrix. He has already lost, from his point of view, too much of his humanity already,
and is not willingly going to give up more, without a good reason�such as his quest for vengeance�ahem�justice.
His plan is to kill the boyfriend and anyone who stands in his way. He will leave his wife alive, but only after he beats her to a bloody pulp.
Tacitus NEVER forgets wrongs done against him. If a character moves against him, and Tacitus is unable to defeat him for whatever reason, he probably will get his revenge sooner or later, even if he has to shoot them in the back. Respect goes a long way with Tacitus.
Truth be told: Tacitus is probably going insane.
